Our students will be completing an in-class project on animal adaptations. The assignment entails creating their own animal and describing the adaptations it needs in order to survive in its environment. Your student is coming home with a sketch of their made-up creature to share with you! We ask that you review the sketch and brainstorm possible materials to use in order to bring their animal to life! Students will be using these materials to create a 2D visual representation of their made-up animal. Please send these materials in with your student by Wednesday, December 6th. We ask that you make sure the materials are placed in a bag with the student’s name on it. Thank you!! From, Mrs. Cohen and Mrs. Gergen Hello Families,
Homework looks a little different this week. For our Language Arts homework, we are going to be practicing our spelling words. The students were sent home with a sheet describing the various activities to complete throughout the week to practice their spelling words. As for math homework, a paper packet was sent home reflecting the concepts we have been working on in class- variables, expressions, and equations! Please have all homework completed and turned in by Friday, November 16th. **Also, please do not forget to turn in your RUN DEVIL RUN pledge forms by Friday! Our goal is 100% class participation! I hope you all have a wonderful week! The pledge forms for Run Devil Run were sent home this week. We are looking for 100% participation for our class!! Any students who bring in pledge forms next week will receive a bonus 30 dollars of our class economy money!!
